We are planning an outdoor ceremony at our reception venue for September of this year. If it rains, our coordinator said that 1/3 of our reception ballroom can be sectioned off and set up for the ceremony and then transformed back into the reception during cocktail hour. How can I still make it beautiful for the ceremony if it does rain and I have to move it indoors? I need quick decor idea that could be used indoors or out (so I don't waste money) and can also be removed quickly after the ceremony is over.
I want to paint my basement and I have ideas I just would like to see them out before i paint it. Is there a webist I can look through photos of painted walls? Finished basement colors...thanks!
Anyone know what the best type of paint is to repaint my little crew in the garden? I acquired these during the purchase of a house, and they are horribly faded and chipped. I'd like to restore life to the crew rather then dispose of them, but I don't have a clue what type of paint you use on concrete to allow it to weather the elements! I'd also like to know how to prep them. I'm figuring a pressure washer and soap for starters, but is there more to do? Thanks!
I saw large homemade aquarium tanks filled with nature scenes. I want to customise mine to fit my tuscan decor with fountains and such, but the size of my tank/table would need to be 30" wide x 4' long! So how can I make my own, what materials are needed, and where do I look? Examples, websites, ideas would help me a lot! Thanks!
http://p.rdcpix.com/v02/la049fa42-m0o.jpg FYI: This is not our house, we are moving and we are going to look at this house. While the inside is nice, I think the curb appeal of the house is lacking something. Please give ideas of how to improve the exterior look of this house. Thanks :D
We're planning a wedding & want it to have subtle alice in wonderland tones to it. We don't want it over the top & all out wonderlandy, and were going with an overall outdoor-nature theme. Any subtle ideas to incorporate Alice in Wonderland? We're looking for ideas for save the dates, invites, table settings etc. Again we don't want it to be 100% alice in wonderland, just light hints.
we are moving to our new home - it has a completely empty back yard - as it is in Northern Australia I was considering a Balinese style / tropical garden - how do I get started as it is currently just a big empty lot with grass...????
I am visiting Vegas from the Mid-West and I am here for an old friends 50th birthday party. He just built a house and he has a nice deck and in ground pool. I would love to get him something really fabulous for this area but don't want to spend an arm and leg for it.
I'm looking for places in Delaware (or right over the line in MD or PA) to have an outdoor wedding. I looked at places like Hagley museum, and Longwood gardens but Longwood doesn't allow the ceremony, only photography. I want my ceremony location to be set up like this: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.shibawi.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/outdoor-setting-ceremony-deco-wedding-ideas-fall-2010-1a.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.shibawi.com/uncategorized/outdoor-setting-ceremony-decor-wedding-ideas-fall-2010/attachment/outdoor-setting-ceremony-deco-wedding-ideas-fall-2010-1a/&h=400&w=400&sz=64&tbnid=Wx7Y_KlzcGxb_M:&tbnh=124&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Doutdoor%2Bweddings&zoom=1&q=outdoor+weddings&hl=en&usg=__pPgxOFVhbsGvj4sm1IPD7jD47YQ=&sa=X&ei=0F2LTYjwCaGG0QHAu_SIDg&sqi=2&ved=0CDQQ9QEwAQ Any help or advice is appreciated!
I am a recently engaged, young, bride to be! We are planning for an outdoor wedding in the fall. The phrase that won't leave my mind is "a beautiful celebration". I don't want it to be to redneck, but I want it to be relaxed, simple, and fun. especially for the guests. We don't have very much money, but we are going to make it work. do you have any advice on what helped you in the planning process? Any ideas on how to make a reception fun for everyone?
I'm student of interior design we have a project : lebanese traditional house .to make a new design for the house i need a concept inspired from the lebanese architecture
It will be outside in the evening & the reception will be at night. I don't really have a theme as of right now nor do I have any colors picked out. I want lots of lighting & I want glittery, sparkly & shiny decor. I was thinking either an evening garden them or a "cool" (as in temperature) theme with cool colors like ice blue, white, silver, etc. Any ideas for decoration, colors, themes, flowers, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
i'm thinking black, hot pink, purple silver (& white!) as my colours, and to be held in summer...
