I put in a very small garden area around my lamppost and need landscape edging ideas.?
It's a small circular area, the flowers I planted are low profile, so bricks and stone are out of the question and it has to be something that can easily be mowed around. I've used seashells before, but these groundskeepers would destroy anything like that. Any suggestions?
- Flagstone set level with the soil.
- I don't use any edging on the borders of my gardens. However, I do keep the edges maintained by using a weed whacker every week.
- plastic edging from your local garden centre comes in different widths
- You can put rubber curbs - I did that and it looks nice and it keeps unwanted debris out. It really does the job. Also maybe you can just put a thin row of mulch - rubber also, so it would stay in place.
